Welcome to the Cathedral of Granada! After meeting a few metres from the Cathedral, in the Plaza Bib-Rambla, we will go to visit the two most visited monuments in Granada after the Alhambra: the Cathedral and the Royal Chapel, symbol of the splendour that took place after the Christian conquest.
We will continue with a pleasant walk through the Alcaicería, the old silk market, to go to the Royal Chapel, where the mausoleums of the Catholic Monarchs, Isabella and Ferdinand, together with their daughter Juana la Loca and their son-in-law Felipe el Hermoso, made in solemn Carrara marble, can be found.
The next stop is the Madrasa, the first Islamic university of the 14th century. And what better way to end the tour than with the majestic Cathedral of Granada, a masterpiece of the Spanish Renaissance.
