The Aquarium of Seville, a must if you travel to Seville.
The Aquarium of Seville carries in its DNA the great adventure of Magellan and Elcano, as the entire exhibition route follows the same route of the first circumnavigation of the planet. The aquarium is divided into five themed areas (Guadalquivir, Atlantic, Amazon, Pacific and Indo-Pacific) and allows visitors to take a journey through history, with the unique feature of being able to see up close the sea creatures that accompanied the navigators on their extraordinary voyage.
More than 3,000 cubic metres of water, some 400 marine species and more than seven thousand specimens, to recreate everything that the Magellan/Elcano expedition saw during the three years of navigation.
It also has the deepest shark tank on the Iberian Peninsula, 9 metres deep, where numerous species live, such as sharks and sea turtles, among others.
