Description

After less than an hour's drive from Seville we will arrive at Doñana National Park, one of the largest and most important wetland reserves in Europe, declared a Biosphere Reserve and inscribed on the World Heritage List. Once there, we will get into the 4x4 to visit the National Park.

Doñana offers a great variety of natural ecosystems such as lagoons, marshes, fixed and mobile dunes, scrubland, Mediterranean forest and 30 km of unspoilt beaches. The Natural Park is also known for its great fauna: birds, reptiles, amphibians and mammals. With a bit of luck you might see an Iberian lynx, Spanish eagle or Egyptian mongoose. After our adventure in the middle of nature, we will continue our journey to visit the village of El Rocío, known worldwide for its pilgrimage in May and for its hermitage, which houses the famous and beloved Virgen del Rocío. From the "magic" of this beautiful landscape we will head to the beach of Matalascañas, for a stroll or just to relax and enjoy a well-deserved lunch. After some free time to explore the area, we will conclude this unforgettable excursion with a pleasant bus ride back to Seville.
