Finally, an image not to be missed is the sunset by the river and the Triana bridge. Looking towards this neighbourhood, the colours of the houses in Calle Betis and the reflection of the bridge in the water stand out.
Without a doubt, on the second day in Seville, it is time to visit the jewels in the crown.
We will start with a visit to “Los Reales Alcázares”. This palace complex is located right in the centre of the city. It is one of the oldest royal palaces in use in the world. The palaces, courtyards and gardens that make up “the Real Alcázar “ mix different architectural styles: Islamic, Mudejar, Gothic, Renaissance and even Baroque. Are you going to miss it?
As it is one of the most visited monuments in the city, we recommend you to buy your tickets online to avoid queues.
The Alcázar of Seville is full of beautiful nooks and crannies in the palaces and gardens. We recommend you not to watch the clock or follow the hectic pace of the people. Walk around this palace and enjoy every corner with our audio guide. After the visit to the Alcázar, which will last at least two hours. We recommend you to visit the second jewel in the crown. The Seville Cathedral is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. And although it may seem enough to admire it from the outside, our advice is to go inside and visit its chapels. You can't leave this monument without climbing the Giralda or visiting the patio de los Naranjos and the Biblioteca Colombia.
Go to the Santa Cruz neighbourhood and get lost in its narrow streets. This area has some of the best places to try some of the city's most typical dishes. The Santa Cruz neighbourhood was part of the old Jewish quarter of Seville, of which the church of Santa María la Blanca, a 13th century synagogue, is still preserved.
